First time eating look at reviews went there to make my own decision. The food arrived to the table and the owner right away said do not put any soy sauce on the rice. Please taste it first. I'm glad she did that because the food was delicious. Does not eat anything else to make it taste better. 100% recommended

Best chinese food in the area that we've had. Very authentic. Beef pot was excellent and spicy. Egg drop soup was rich and flavorful. Can't wait to go back and sample more of the menu.

We were recommended this place for the Dim sum. at first it looked closed as there was no cars and the lights were off, but once inside we were greeted and good service. We tried 2 dishes and the pork and shrimp Dim Sumz everything was very authentic and yummy! Highly recommend the this place.

OMG, I thought there's no good Chinese restaurant in the desert until today! The food, service, and atmosphere here were surprisingly good. The sweet and sour orange chicken, Pekin duck, fried rice, pasta, veggies, dumplings, and so on are delicious. We almost had food coma because we ate too much and their food is really good.

This is absolutely my favorite Chinese restaurant in North America. Fantastic food and an amazing experience! I had a one-week vacation in Palm Springs and ended up having my dinner at Cie's every day because there is a huge variety of tempting dishes to choose from. Everything is so tasty, fresh, and authentic and the price is very good. I enjoyed every single bit of all meals I ordered. The owner and servers are very nice and helpful. The traditional Chinese-style dining tables and chairs, together with the exquisite Chinese paintings and fine china displayed in the place, nicely decorate the restaurant and provide an elegant and pleasant ambiance. Definitely a go-to place for authentic Chinese food! Recommendation from a food-lover with rich experience with Chinese cuisine, especially Sichuanese dishes:-)

They're back from China after being gone for 3 months! The food is phenomenal and very authentic with attention to detail in all of the dishes and use of spices. The inside is absolutely gorgeous despite the outside being very unassuming, and SO worth the drive. When I'm back up from San Diego I'll absolutely hit it up

Out of the gate just know... Food: Excellent! Service: Meh. Ok, so this is the best Chinese food I've found in Coachella Valley since moving here a year ago. Chinese is just lacking here, especially up near Palm Springs, so thought I'd drive down to Indio to check this out. Cie Sichaun Cuisine isn't fancy, isn't very fast but I'll be back for the food. It's a simple dining room, kinda sparse and a little loud as the place started to fill up. They could use some lite background music. No big deal. Service was the only reason I docked a star. There was one wait person and they were quite overwhelmed. Could tell that after being seated and waiting about 7 or 8 minutes to get the menu. Waited another 10 minutes or so to order. But once the order was placed, the food came out at a reasonable pace, dish by dish and was very hot. Toward the end of our meal an older gentleman (probably the chef) came out from the back to help the person in the front. So I think they were just short staffed. The pork dumplings were mostly standard, but the soups were very tasty. We had the won ton soup and the hot-n-sour. Wonton was delicious, and the hot-n-sour leaned onto the spicy side. Probably the "spiciest" or "hottest" I've ever had. After that was the garlic pork, and kung pao chicken. Both of which were flavorful and plenty of shredded meats. Cie Sichaun Cuisine leans into the authentic side of Chinese. There's plenty of dishes to suit American taste, and there's some adventurous dishes for same Americans. There was a large Chinese family seated at one of the large tables when we walked in, so I felt we were in the right place for a good Chinese food experience. If you're in Indio, want some good Chinese and got some time then GO! If you're in Palm Springs and don't mind the drive, then GO! But don't expect it to be quick.
